Carine Community Fair Sponsorship

For the 2018 Carine Community Fair, Creative Canary proudly played an integral sponsorship role, breathing new life into a local brand and beloved community event providing the first ever Carine Community Fair logo, brand new website and fresh collateral including posters, flyers, social media graphics and more. We’re thrilled to...

As we fly into this year’s season of giving, Creative Canary is proud to announce another sponsorship initiative and welcome to the flock our latest fantastic partner – The Rotary Club of Hillarys. As a locally owned and operated affair, Creative Canary is serious about contributing positively to our community. And we’re especially keen to partner up with an organisation that shares our values; with a focus on bringing positive change and delivering meaningful outcomes.

In 2018, The Rotary Club of Hillary’s will be celebrating their 30th year with the biggest and best Carine Community Fair ever! The programme for the event is bursting at the seams with 100+ market stalls, a sideshow alley with rides, amusements and showbags as well as a brand new inclusion for the first time – food vans! The fair has become one of the major annual events in the northern suburbs and is a fantastic combination of family fun and local charity fundraising. The event offers many worthwhile community groups with limited resources an opportunity to raise funds which otherwise may not be possible.

Far from simply throwing our name on the website, our association with the 30th Annual Carine Community Fair has been a true partnership. Despite being around for 30 years, the fair never before had a logo or any branding, let alone a website. Creative Canary was thrilled to be able to bring this beloved community event up to speed with fresh branding (including posters, flyers, social media graphics etc), new logo and of course, a new website that’s engaging and accessible to families and businesses alike, with an interactive map and implementation for online form submission.

We’re very honoured to have been able to work on Carine Community Fair and would like to extend a big thank you to the Rotary Club of Hillarys. The fair is on Sunday, March 18 between 10am to 4pm at the Carine Regional Open Space (Cnr Beach & Okley Rd, Carine).

See you at the bumper cars!

“Phil and the team at Creative Canary have been absolutely brilliant in scoping, designing and implementing our website. Our community fair will be in its 30th year in 2018 and since its inception, it has had no website or web presence. To bring us into the 21st century, we asked Creative Canary for the whole package – new branding for the fair, develop a funky new website that’s engaging to families and businesses, implement online form capabilities with an interactive map and of course web and email domains/hosting.

In previous years, we had taken applications for stallholders using Word document forms which were either emailed or posted to interested parties. Now, with Creative Canary’s help, this is all done online. Applicants can choose their stall location (using our interactive map), view our t&cs, fill out our application form and submit it to us for review. Once reviewed, if the application is accepted, payment is taken online and their stall location locked in on the map. The amount of administration and paperwork this online process has saved is remarkable. We now have much more time to focus on other aspects of running the fair and don’t have to worry about the application process – Phil and the guys have us covered!

Creative Canary were also very generous by sponsoring the development of the project. As we are a not-for-profit organisation, this was a huge help and means that we can spend more in other areas to enhance the fair experience. The support from Phil in particular has been amazing – we couldn’t ask for more! From the day that the concept was laid out, Phil was on the same page, he knew exactly what we wanted and suggested various ways to achieve our goal. Phil’s level of communication was also outstanding. Not a day went by without some sort of update.

A HUGE thank you to Phil and the team. We couldn’t have done it without you!”
